The Indian government has advised wearing masks and started random testing of visitors from abroad. It is compulsory to check the health status of passengers arriving from China, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong and Thailand. Union Health Minister also said that RT-PCR tests will be made mandatory for passengers arriving from these countries. If any positive will be quarantined.
Coronavirus Symptoms-
Rising Covid cases in China are mainly caused by the BF.7 strain of the Omicron variant, now which has been detected in India. In India the number of corona patients may be small but here is why the government is worried, and what you should be alert to.
BF.7 mainly affects upper respiratory infection, meaning congestion in the higher parts of the chest and near the throat. Fever, sore throat, cough, and runny nose are the coronavirus symptoms.
Some people may get stomach symptoms like diarrhea and vomiting. Doctors advise that getting tested immediately can help to stop the spread by ensuring early decisions on isolating and recovery medicines.

Countries are taking precautionary steps and India is also taking precautionary steps. While Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Health Ministry have in high-level meetings, the advisories have been issued and take action soon. With random coronavirus testing of arriving passengers from other nations set to start on Saturday, the Ministry of Civil Aviation has said that airlines’ crew members will have to bring such identified passengers to the testing facility at the airport.
